We pride ourselves on our customer service here at KewbzUK. That's why we will cover any broken piece from the day of delivery up until 14-days after delivery. That includes internals, broken corner stalks, broken pieces and broken cores. Please Note: In the event a piece does break or your cube pops, we will cover the piece and not the whole cube.
There are 2 types of 'pops' in cubing:
This thing is weighty and girthy. If there's one thing I'll say about puzzles this size is "don't try lift them up like you're solving a basic 3x3, get a good stable surface.
The Examinx came out of the box a little greasy, but anyone who's handled a fresh ShengShou puzzle of gigaminx or above size will tell you that's standard. Most layers move very easily, though you'll want to make sure everything's pretty well aligned or you will get centre segments catching and trying to pop on you. Luckily, that's easily fixed with a little gentle wiggling. Before very long I could feel it breaking in nicely and it's a pleasure to solve, even when you're into hour five and your hands are giving up on you.
My only minor gripe was that the corner pieces kept popping a single face out. I couldn't work out exactly what was causing it, but it happened maybe 20 times during my first full solve. It's very easily fixed, and I'm somewhat tempted to super glue them together to stop it happening in future. Other than that, I absolutely love the Examinx and look forward to many happy solves for years to come =)
