Warranty

We pride ourselves on our customer service here at KewbzUK. That's why we will cover any broken piece from the day of delivery up until 14-days after delivery. That includes internals, broken corner stalks, broken pieces and broken cores. Please Note: In the event a piece does break or your cube pops, we will cover the piece and not the whole cube.

What to do if your cube pops

There are 2 types of 'pops' in cubing:

  • Pops - A single piece (or a few pieces) fall out of the cube.
  • Explosions - the whole cube falls apart and you're left with a pile of pieces.
In both instances you may be left feeling a little annoyed and confused on how to pop it back together. Please Note: This can happen to a brand new cube on your first solve. It's always a good idea to do some slow turns and check the tension of the cube before going sub-2seconds with 10000 TPS (turns per second).
If you're cube has exploded and you're left with a pile of pieces we have a full blog with rebuild videos for you to start/stop/pause/rewind as you so need. These can be accessed here.

If your cube has popped and a single piece or a few pieces have come out, just drop us an email from the contact form on the website and we will be more than happy to take a video and help you get your cube back together again.

Good cube

This cube was my first 8x8 and I think it turns pretty well. Some of the layers do get caught on other pieces but that is expected because it is a non magnetic cube. I would recommend this to people if they want a fun and unique puzzle

Good YuXin Little Magic 8x8

Packaging/ Initial appearance:
Simple cardboard box. No excessive plastic. Cube looks eautiful with nice colours.
Initial feel/checkerboard:
Fairly weighty but not so much that it's 'tiring' to hold ( true for entire solve of a couple of hours-- I'm a beginner ). Did checkerboard and some care needed to avoid catches, but it was easy to align all layers by either tapping or pinching the edges with two fingers or a gentle slap with one palm. Although not completely dry, it was a little bit too frictional.
Outer layers turn easily, and centre layers nearly but not quite as easily.
Break-in:
I added some lube and thoroughly scrambled the cube.
The lube definitely helped although to be fair I think just turning it for the scramble did as much.
1st solve:
There were a few minor catches of misaligned layers when turning which were easily straightened with two-finger pinch or palm-slap. It was a pleasure to solve and by the end of the solve, the cube was turning very smoothly and had broken in pretty well.
Bottom line:
I'm looking forward to my next solve on this cube and recommend it unless you have small fingers as it's a fair-sizex cube ( MoYu do a smaller 8*8*8 if you have small fingers which is also a great buy, )
